Alright, I'm kinda upset now! Since I boosted the DKH the algae seems to be dying off pretty quickly. It died off when I had the lights on even, and now that I cut the lights it is rapidly dying. I'm upset because I'm gonna be ticked if all I had to do was boost my dkh to help win the algae battle!! It will stay no lower then 12 from now on. I got it up to 13.1, then a couple days later it was down to 11.3. Then I got it back up to the 14 range and tomorrow will boost it again depending on how much it has dropped off. I am hoping to get to the 15 range.

I am hoping this will get me "over the hump" on the algae battle. I really don't want to try the Algea X, I have never used an additive and don't really want to, but I will as a last resort. Not to mention it would save me $100

 

I'm glad to see you are getting it under control. And your wife must be too!

 

Hopefully that new lawnmower blenny will eat the stuff. He's picking at everything in my qt tank.

I will be posting pics here soon... I now can say I am winning the algae battle but it's not gone yet. Things started kicking @$$ at work and I have been trying to balance the tank and life... no Algea X in the tank (if anyone wants to buy a bottle!) Noticed the lawnmower is getting skinny but he has plenty of natural food so I am still going to hold off on him. Haven't been on in a while but that is the update for now!

 

I will buy it back from you if you have not opened it yet.

 

It doesn't matter. If you need it it's yours, but if I try to get rid of it you will have first offer! I never opened it. I'll keep it around unless you need it...
