Fine, this friend of mine loaned be a bulb to test with. Some call him Kris. I'll throw some karma at ya big winer!;) No, thanks a million Kogle!! Plus 3 for ya!

As for the bulbs... should be in by the end of the week. When I ordered the MH my tank wasn't ready for them yet so I decided to wait on the bulbs. It ended up taking longer to get the reflectors and ballast than what I thought, so I am ordering bulbs now. No biggie, I'm doing the 2 hour 1 bulb acclimation till then!;D

Alright here are some pics of the tank I took today. These pics are the first of the tank I have posted with the mh on I believe. I also threw in some pics of the fan setup I rigged, 2 110 watt fans have been keeping water temp in check but have killed my evaporation! Also the pic isn't good and I know I've heard what they are but what are the white dots on the back glass and on my supply for the hob filter? The ones on the back glass are just dots the ones on the supply are feathery type things that almost look like they have tails. I know the pic isn't great but hopefully someone can help out. Enjoy!

This one looks the best, you have your flash turned off. Those are some nice looking fans..... ;)

I did a mixture of flash/ no flash, most of them are without a flash but in this one I turned out the lights in the room, that is the difference. The fans are working great, a little loud when the room is quite but not too bad, thanks for the freeby's Scott!

Alright everyone, got an update after a couple months. I've let my tank settle in for a couple months while I just kept the parameters up and watched. Everything is going good so far except some minor algae issues I am working through, mostly a small population of bubble algae which I started a thread about. The base rock is looking good, some coralline coming right along and starting to spread well. Nemo's Dad (the Clown) and Brotha Man (the sixline) are doing great and hang out a lot in the tank, pretty fun to watch.

Kogle and I went to Premium Aquatics on Wednesday to pick some stuff up. I have to plug these guys real quick, if you need anything please look at there website. We have never had a problem with them, they have a knowledgeable staff and they even stayed open an extra hour so that we could make the 45 minute trek up there. What a great company, bending over backwards for us!! Anyways... we went in and bought enough snails for the 80 cent each price break, I got 40 Nerites and 25 Nassarius, bringing my total to about 130 snails, maybe 100 still alive in the tank. And the best part... I got a new mandarin woohoo! He looks really fat and healthy too! And yes, I have pics but my camera died after I took them I swear!! Pics will follow soon I promise!!! Thanks for checking in... updates will follow!!

Well, I might have some bad news. It is too soon to jump to conclusions but tonight I can't find my 6line. Don't know what the heck the deal is, he was doing fine yesterday and I came home tonight and he is nowhere to be seen, even during feeding time which is very strange. Can't see evidence of a carpet surfing trip or of a carcass, but the 100+snails and 3 crabs would make very quick work of him. I'll keep a close eye out & hope for the best...
