I disagree, if you watch closely and dose pods accordingly it wouldn't be a big deal. What is the difference between putting pods in there (food) and putting flakes (a different kind of food) in there for 2 clowns? Either way your putting food into the tank to feed your livestock.

Well I guess if you're going to dose pods every time you feed flake it's not that big of a deal. Just don't see that happening though.
Keep in mind a mandarin is about like a hummingbird. They eat constantly.

You don't have to worry about it though if the 6 line is gone.

I wasn't talkin about adding pods every feeding, just when the supply gets low. I don't think they would need to be added every other day, but your dosing with a sixline and mandarin in a 29g so you would know more about how often it is needed... but like you said I doubt I have anything to worry about now cause I haven't seen him in over a week! Oh well, corals are doin great!! You were right, I enjoy the corals more than the fish now!

Yea after having a mandarin in QT for a few months now I'd never do it again. Should have just hooked you up when you wanted him. I know I've spent over $100 on pods for the QT alone and he's still WAY too skinny.

I'm with you on the corals though. They're much more interesting.

Scott, what happened to your Mandarin? Kogle said he got skinny and died, mine is looking real skinny and so is Ogles, I was just wonderin the story and see if there is anything I can watch for/or do to help things out. I hope he is just having a long adjustment period... :( He acts healthy just doesn't look it...

I believe it is from having another fish in there competing for the same food source is what happened to mine. So I hear your ready to sell your setup already???? Boy that didn't take long to get bored with.
