    i have 29 gallon boicube and what upgrades i need to make this tank better for all corals .and do these tanks cause fires,my local fish store told me this

    Having owned a Biocube once I can say I have never heard this before.

    You need to check out member Biocube's build thread.

    Perhaps your LFS wanted to sell you a more expensive system. If you are interested in all in one systems there are a few to choose from not just Biocubes, but they are a tank I like a lot.

    I havent heard anything about fires, mine has been running great! As far as upgrades go, I replaced the moonlights with ones from rapid LED, added a powerhead, and am currently running stock lighting. I have zoanthids and mushrooms in it now that are doing great, and these lights will do great for most softies. I am planning on replacing the return pump for a newer, quieter one, and also put a hydor rotating flo deflector on the return. Its a cheap way to move water around your tank.

    Look at biocubes build thread for other ideas, he has done a lot with lighting and a sump system, among other mods.
