Bombing the house... Saving the Tank

    Well... From what it looks like, I wont have the time to tear down the tank and move all inhabitants + rock work to another location... Ill have to tear down the sump and seperate fuge and hopefully lower the water level in the DT and completely seal it with plastic... Its a heavy risk...

    Also... If this turn out bad and all livestock dies, I assume ill have to toss all sand, bleach the rock and tank, and start from point 1?

    Im def with you on that.. But right on the back of the bottles they fishtank safe make sure its coverd completely..Thats why i love this site all these diffrent things we learn every night.....

    Certainly not an ideal situation, but I had the same idea (at least about the air pump) as iLLwiLL... others in the past on 3reef have done this with good results.. FWIW..

    Well D-day is passed, and everything had survived... I wrapped the tank with two large X-mass tree garbage bags and duct-taped the bottom... I also ran an airline and pump from outside... Thanks for all the advice everyone.. worked great
