    Hey reefers.

    Just got my boostled par30 3 blue 2 white bulb in today!!

    i was soooo excited i ripped it out of the box in aw :drool:

    so i powered it up and held it over my tank it was beautiful.

    i mounted it with to the ceiling with a ceiling hook into the stud and used a lighting fixture i built that was pretty much a light socket on an extension cord. i got it up and powerd it on and it was perfect. i went to get my camera for some pix :p when i came back my cat was on my dresser, smackin the light and i yelled "BAD KITTY". upon me yelling his claw got stuck in the heat sink and he tryed to jump down, taking my boostled with him.

    it landed in the tank.

    10 minutes of glory thrown away by a GD Maine Coon.

    i stuck in a bag of rice to maybe absorb some moisture. it obviously turned off when it hit the water. im 80% sure its probably done for. i havent tried to power it back up yet.

    boostled probably doesn't replace for water damage.

    That's awful, sorry to hear that. Have to agree though, it's the funniest thing I've heard all day though. Just hope the cats ok?

    That is horrible! Sounds like something that would happen to me. Sorry to hear it.

    I wouldn't try to put power to it for a few days at least. Put it in a place with good dry warmth for a while.
