You can try soaking it in RO/DI water for a bit and dry it out but chances are the driver is a goner.

If it doesn't work, send it back to us and we'll be more than happy to replace the driver for you free of charge!

ive got it in a bag of rice like i said. i know that works for wet cell phones. it pulls the moisture out. should i keep it going or should i try the ro/di?

i want to wait atleast a few days to see if it is salvageable.

this has been a crappy day already. i filed my taxes wrong and i thought i was getting an 1100 dollar return.. ends up they took 1100 dollars out of my account.

DOH!! have 2 cats (one is a Mancoon) and a dog .. the cats love laying across the top of my tanks.. annoys the hell outta me but the tops are all sealed with thick glass lids or canopys.

 

Soaking it in rodi will remove all salt residue which will cause issues if left.

from what i saw for the few minutes the bulb was suspended, they were amazing. like everyone says. pictures do no justice. you have to see it to believe it. ill most definitely be ordering atleast 2 more for my 20 long.
