    I am starting a 30 gallon breeder build here soon and wanted to know about how many of these would I need for the tank? I plan on keeping some softies and lps with a few fishy's!

    manufactor specs say it wil cover a 12x12 space so....im thinking 4-5 lamps im putting 8 over my 75 gallon. just my opinion nut you can pm the company throught 3reef. He is a good fellow and answered all my questions.

    no problem. I love the bulbs and love the color they put out more blue than white almost like the halides, but the owner is great and will answer any question you have from my personal experence.

    OK and I was going to ask what you thought about them and you answered my question, they would def work for the bedroom then MH get way to hot lol

    I left mine on for 24 hours when i first got it just to see the zoas reactions and they loved it. I wanted to see how hot it got so i grabed the heat sinks slowly and you can touch and move the bulbs aand it not burn your hand, as a matter of fact its slightly warmer than hot tub water. LOL

    us13fox, did you ever decide how many lights you need? I am starting up a 36 corner bowfront that I would like to eventually put like to set up similar to yours.

    John said with a 30 breeder I would need 4 of the 60 degree lamps I would pm him and find out for sure what you would need bc the depth is different in the 36 corner and just the overall dimensions are different lol. Hope that helps!
