My 90 didn't need any crazy maintenance this week so i spent some time with the camera instead. its coming along pretty well now... although i think i have entirely too much in one tank again! that huge leather may have to go, he's way to temperamental.

can anyone ID what that purple coral is in the last pic? i never figured that guy out...

Tank looks great, congrats on having a light maintenance week hope it stays that way. You could frag the leather it you like it and sell the rest. Your tank does not look overcrowded or crowded for that matter.

Ha girlfriend is going a hate you said it doesn't look crowded! As for the leather, there are probably 10+ little baby leather from that guy... He keep dropping pieces of himself all over tha place, and the mushrooms are absolutely taking over the joint

I love the 'scape....and everything else.
I also had some xenia growing up my back wall. One day I came home and it was all gone. Stupid coral.

not the cult or xenia, its in the lower left of the tank and the last picture from my original post is a closer look at it while it is open. i aggitated it a little and took another picture of it closed up so you can see how the polyps retract. he has a fleshy body that kinda encrusts over the rock. currently the tank has a 4 bulb t5 fixture, it was supposed to be upgraded to 6 bulbs but my LFS claims the new fixture i ordered has been backordered since august when i placed the order and paid for it :( still waiting "Reef to Reptiles"...! lol
