boston bean boxfish???

    whats the deal with thesse little buggers? i know most boxfish are toxic but how toxic are they?? are they reef safe ? how hearty are they? just trying to get opinions. not to much came up on a quick google search and is $15 a good price for them?

    I have heard they are like an anemone or cucumber. If they go they may take the entire tank with them.

    pretty sure they will take the whole tank with them. on the other hand if thats all you have in the tank then its not a big problem. they only do it if they are stressed or dead.

    I think boxfish are one of those fish that, if you have to ask, you're probably not ready for one, but kudos for asking before buying. :)

    i had a longhorn cowfish before. the lfs guy neglected to tell me the potential of these guys. so now im doin my research before putcgaseing one:). his tank mates would all be peaceful but i think i should hold off for now ...not ready to roll the dice on this one yet ;) ...thanks for the help guys
