I was looking into adding euro bracing to my tank, the dimensions are 50x18x24 just over 90gal, was going to add a top brace but wondering if a bottom if necessary. Would it be possible to get away without a bottom or should I just go ahead with it to be safe?

I'm pretty sure you'll be alright without.

I had my tank built not that long ago, 55x24x26 and only have a top euro brace with 1/2" glass

It has no deflection at all, and the tank builder (who ha built thousands of tanks) said it would be overkill to do both.

ultimately its what you're comfortable with
