So I bought a 14G Nano that has been running for a year now from someone. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and am trying to get it back up to par. I bought the stand, the tank, all of the stock in the tank, and chemicals for 100 bucks. It was a sweet deal and to hard to pass up. Now comes the tricky part. I already have a 90 gallon FOWLR tank keep. The stock in the 14g nano was:

3 smaller pieces of live rock
    6 inches of sand
2 large snails (about the size of half dollars)
    1 fire shrimp
    1 red hermit crab
    1 starfish
    2 clowns
    1 pistol shrimp
    1 snowflake eel
    Small Frogspawn and Mushrooms

I've since moved the rock with the frogspawn and mushrooms, the snails, crab, clowns, starfish to my 90 gallon.

The only thing left in the nano is the eel, rock, and pistol shrimp. I really dont want the pistol in there cause the eel is looking at him as dinner. I'm not sure if the pistol can be moved to my 90 gallon though ? Will he get along in my 90?

I know the 14g is small for the eel. I plan to start a 125 gallon after xmas. Will the eel be ok in the 14g until the 125 is done cycling?

    Advice please, thanks!

The pistol will be fine in the 90. How big is the eel?

Personally if I were going to keep the eel I'd put it in the 90. Of course depending what fish you have in it. Do you know what the eel has been eating?
