    My DT is 75gal, I have found a little giant pump that I will be buying next week :) So now on to the plumbing can anyone help me with that? Like what angles i can have and cant. Thanks again for all the help

    Mag 7 would work fine IME.

    My family owns a plumbing company if you need any advice. Use the board before you glue. Dry fit the system...

    Thanks i will deff hit you up for some advice and i wanted to go overboard with this pump to set me up for a larger tank in the future :)

    My mag7 in my 72g creates, major, major flow my DT. The 9 may need a ball valve to dial it down.

    So for the plumbing I want 2 return lines do they need to be flex hose or somewhat straight hard pvc? like how much 45 or 90s can i have my sump/refuge will be setting next to my DT which is a 75gal.

    Either will work as it is pressure assisted gravity feed to the lower tanks. I would say you don't have to many limitations on elbows as you are going to run dual overflows. Just make sure to use 1" or larger to ensure adequate flow with your monster pump putting a good amount of water in the system.

    Thats is good to know I have options. Dual overflow so like one on each side of the tank and the returns will be plumbed right next to them so they come in more towards the center of the tank? Maybe I should make a diagram so i can get some feed back on my plans.

    I would with a pump that large, however, you can use a ball valve to restrict the output. Can you drill your DT? If not, then I would run two HOB overflows.
