    Iv had my first 50 gallon reef goin for around 4 months now, and i was never too happy with the flow i had which so far has only been one koralia Evo 750, which i know is pretty bad and is probably the reason iv been having algae problems lately so today i took the plunge and bought a Vortech mp10 ES from marinedepot which should be here tomarrow :).

    I was planning on getting the MP20 ever since i set up the tank which is why iv only had the one Koralia in there, but never could get myself to swipe the card for 300 on a power head haha. So im hoping the MP10 will be enough since the tanks only 30" long.

    Whats everyones thought on these things?

    grats on the new pump!

    mp10 = 1,575 max gph
    evo750 = 750 max gph

    2325gph = 46.5x turnover in the display itself.

    id say thats a pretty big increase over the 15x turnover you have now with just the one evolution. not to mention the mp10 has the ES wavemaker capabilities so thats a huge plus. i think they're great and intend to buy a vortech for my tanks as soon as i can find the disposable income for it :)
