So i went to the LFS and got a pretty good size bag of Cheat o and other weed/plants for my sump.. on the way home I noticed there was dozens of little brittle stars all in the bag.. should i put this in my sump?

Will the brittle stars cause any problems.. i have heard that they can eat fish.

now when you say little are they white and have bodies smaller then a hole punch. this are micro brittles perfectly safe. i think this is what you have as very few people would give you free babies of the larger cousins.

um no the biggest one is probably (-------) that big in size. They are everywhere and the smallest i would say is about the size of a hole punch yes.

they may but i kinda doubt they are capable of catching them since they(pods) can swim. the starfish are more likely to eat detritus
