I need ideas on bending wood for a 72 bow. Is it hard to do this. I an thinking of gluing 3/16 wood sheets in a mold but unsure if thy will stay together. Help.

No experience with bending, but what you could do is nail it in to be sure it stays, then cover nails on the top and bottom of the canopy and the top of the stand with molding of some sort.

EDIT: Just realized the obvious fact that you would have to bend the molding but many of them at Lowe's were very flexible and you could screw into them from the inside.

You can soften the wood by soaking in water or steaming.

I would use 3/16"... should bend pretty easily & then glue & screw the ends/sides. A zip-router would be your best bet to cut the doors out of the wood once curved.

This may also give you some ideas. Using strips for the doors.
