Do Boxing Shrimp eat bristle worms?

I have allowed one to many things to become clean up crew food and as a result i have a few too many (and a few rather large bristle worms). I'd like to naturally reduce their numbers however i would prefer to this without the aid of an arrow crab as i've heard they can become aggressive.

    Cheers in advance!!

They will NOT eat bristleworms, arrow crabs will but they will eventually attack fish but first they will wipe out your invert population, i.e, beneficial bethnic inverts.
Many wrasses will eat smaller ones.
Or you can just trap them... But the worms really aren't detrimental.

    Good luck

Well thats a shame - i had heard that they did :(

I know the worms are non detrimental and if anything benficial, but i will not lie to you ....... I hate them.
Their numbers are so great they no longer are afraid of the light! And i hate the big ones even more then the little ones - ewwww!

I tried a trap - it didnt work!

Why not try a Coral Banded Shrimp. They're beautiful and they eat bristleworm.
