i believe this is supposed to be a friendly and informative forum, no room for rude comments here, if you have nothing nice to say leave your comments to yourself.

it is fairly simple to acclimate. its practically like acclimating a nes fish to your tank just much much....much slower.

k its time to stop ganging up on the little kids, i believe se probably have as much experience as you all. like i said its time to stop with the rude comments and try to help out. dont post on the thread if your not going to give information.

bumblebee gobies are great fish, they also get along well with puffers.

Bro. concnetrate on getting that 10 gallon you have up and running with no problems and understand the science involved in this hobby, and then when you make these upgrades with mandarins and now brackish fish. you can worry about that then, keep your focus on your 10 gallon SALTWATER tank for a year or so and get a good solid foundation built and then you can worry about these projects when time comes. just take..... it..... slow.....

Yes but go slowly....like have your top off water be at the salinity you ultimately want and it should be good. Just monitor the salinity in the tank.
Alternately if you just want brackish fish and are just using aquarium salt gradually add the amount of salt that should make your tank the salinity desired, but as always as you get closer to target test to verify you don't overshoot your mark.

I did the mollies in a week due to the fact that that was easier on them than the tiny 2 gal tank w/no heater or filtration so it was kinder to go a little faster, plus w/c were a pain.
For my green spotted puffer I took 3wks -a month to get him to full SW. I had bumble bee gobies with him in the brackish tank I have a thread on it.
