Brain Coral Help!

am i suppose to put the brain in the light? also, i can't turkey feed the brain for some reason. all the food flies away. where exactly is the spot i need to feed it? is it the two holes in my brain?

 

When I feed my open brain, I turn off the powerheads. First I drop just a bit of food on it and wait for it to sense the food and begin to expand. So far it seems to like anything I have to offer, cyclopeze, rods food, mysis shrimp. Also the brain seems to expand more fully after I turn the lights out, yesterday I waited for full expansion to offer food. This seems to be a better time for both the brain and my sun coral polyp.
