Brain forming to nearby rocks?

If you want to move the Trachy just wave your hand over it a little bit to disturb it with the water movement, it should shrink up. Don't try and move it when it's fully expanded because then you're really risking tearing it. I personally would try and move it away from the rock if you had another place to put it but if you don't then there's not much else you can do, and it will only get worse as it grows and can expand even more. Just to be prepared for that.

Sounds like your tank is doing great now, congrats on that, just don't get too complacent! I mean this in the nicest way possible. Don't get too cocky.

I thought that at one point too and around a year in I started having problems. The more heavily stocked your tank is with fish and coral the more potential you have for issues. That's when things can go bad, fast.
