    I got my new setup today and i am will be starting the stocking of everything soon. here are a couple pics of it right now. enjoy.

    thank you i will use this as my progress thread. i will have more after my orders come in. i am going to order some base rock and get my sand. i will start the process march 1st.

    make sure down the road, you can thin out some of those bioballs with LR rumble.. man thats a mean looking skimmer too for 50g.. :)

    yea the guy had it on a 120g and the sump is a custom made acrylic tank. i have the tank running now and i am very satisfied. these VHO lights are beautiful. the only thing is the lights are wired to the ice-cap and i have to try to figure how to put it all on seprate times. i dont know much about the ice cap systems.

    i have 2 koraila 2 's on the way. a sensor and pump to make top off unit. a sprectapure RO/DI unit. i am ordering a led moonlight unit. and base rock will come in about 2 weeks i have to plan it all on schedule. i am moving march 1st. so i will set it up when i move. i just want to have everything.

    ok dokie so here is a update on the tank. i added three current usa led moonlights and 50lbs of base rock. just to see how i wanted to set it up. so there is no sand in it yet because i will be moving in about 20 days. i will have some pics up in a couple mins. once i can find the camera.

    got some nice looking rock in there
    just one tip try not to stack rocks of similar sizes on top of each other
    as you could then struggle for coral placement locations later if you do
    so largest rocks at base level, and then progressively smaller as you work upwards
    this gives lots of rock shelfs which will be very valuable real estate for your intended corals later
