Brand new ATI bulbs keep dimming out

    As do I. When I first got the system, it felt hot and "smelled" hot (hot plastic). Didn't think anything of it until now. Strange that it can run the ATI by themselves, but not with the Actinic. Will be interesting to see what happens when my coral plus bulbs arrive on Monday.

    Yea... That is strange. It shouldn't feel THAT hot or smell plastic at all.... hmm..

    They don't know what's wrong. Cited a possible compatibility issue. I asked for a refund as this unit is either faulty or doesn't meet my needs. They didn't list compatibility issues on their page.

    Non brand. I do have a bit of a dilemma. I bought a 55 gallon and will be upgrading from a 20 in the coming months. I just bought $100 in lights. I can remedy that by sending them back for 48" ones. I don't know what to do about lighting though. I have a 2 bulb coral life fixture that is on its last leg.
