The scopas is fine..he came from the sam tank..they growvery very slow.ive watched one for three years in a cube..if i didnt watch him for a month in one i wouldnt have got him..in 3 or 4 years when he outgrows this tank he will get his own 150g..ill have my masters and wont have to live in a campus apartment..i have had multiple cubes and maintain 2..the ONLY thing u have to do is clean ur filters and small weekly water changes..its worked for years..never lost a fish..alot of the hype on certain methods is honestly bull..

The bicolor honestly wanted to nip the tang the first day but got slapped back to his senses..he is a mid swimmer in this tank and likes the higher rock..the diamond is a marval..he never takes a break..he never stops working building holes in the bottom..one month and both are very happy..

Well I disagree. That fish needs swimming room, something that a 28g Nano cannot offer. Its good that you are taking care of the water quality, as that will definitely contribute to its health, but whether its 1 month or 3 years it makes no difference. You COULD live in a closet, but would you want to? It's the same thing with that tang. It needs space, and while it may survive, it is your responsibility as its care taker to make sure it is not only living but thriving.

Further, your LFS holds a fish of this type in a cube and says its fine, but they also keep them in 1/2 gallon partitions some places. It does not mean that, that environment is a good home for the livestock, it is an extremely temporary set up in most cases.

You have a beautiful set up, but this is not a proper home for this animal.

Yea some people are tang freaks on here don't worry about it. Its your fish do with it what you want. I remember getting blasted for having a naso in a 125. But, she is about 8 inches long now and has ample amount of swimming space IMO.

    Very nice setup btw.

I have alot of ppl commenting on my other tank about the dangers of keeping more than one dartfish in a tank..i have get a red, a purple, and a scissortail dartfis in a 14 gallon biocube for years and recently added a small zebra bar dartfish and all in fine..in this jbj i have two a red and a purple dartfish.both very small babies..they share the same burrough and feeding habits..they seem fine..other thank being very timid..for no justifiable reason..no one has ever came at them..the clown swi.s over to check them out and boom..gone..lol..then back out swimming quickly..but have you guys had dartfish housing issues? Issues with fighting or bullies???

More specifically speaking..dartfish killing other dartfish?...ive never ever experienced this..but ppl are saying they should never be housed together (it will never stop me from doing it tho)
