    This is my first reef tank and I just got my new live rock today. I like this set up, what do you guys think?

    i think it looks great! i love the island structures and how everything is open i tried to originally do that with my 55 but it didn't work out too good. setting up my new 125 though maybe ill try something like that. what size tank is it?

    I like it, should allow for good flow! Why don't ya hide the heater a little lower?

    I'd move the rock on the far right - is it touching the glass? Even if it isn't, there isn't enough room between the glass and rock to be able to clean the glass over there.

    yeah id be a little worried about a big rock against the glass. Otherwise looks great!

    Ya I made sure to keep as much of it off the glass as I could. It is touching the glass on the right, but only barely. I'm going to let the back and right side of the glass get grown over because I can't see the tank from those sides anyway.

    Nice start

    Hi Ingtar,
    Your off to a nice start if i may give you some food for thought about installing PVC cut off's to keep your rocks just a touch above the sand. This will allow not only flow under your rocks but will stop detritus from building up around your rock structure.:)
