Brand of salt?

    RC from DRS just went up in price, now it is close to most of the other brand of salt, i want to switch, maybe red sea marine pro, where is another place that you are getting your salt from?

    I use coralife.. I like the high levels, and it does smell wierd..lol. My corals and fish love it. Fag was right.. calcium is really high.. around 560-570.

    We decided to go with IO reef crystals for now. Our LFS owner said it will be great for us for now, but when we start going with more corals and stuff that we should switch to a little higher quality salt with some more Mg in it. Sound good? Any objections?

    I'll let you know how IO RC's are from a newbie perspective when we start our water changes.

    I don'tr care how expensive Reef Crystals gets its the only salt mix I wil ever use. Since some of the bigest public (Shedd in Chicago) and Private (Sea world) figure how can I go wrong.

    You can go wrong because their needs are different form yours. Plus they have a few marine biologists monitoring the situation
