ok so when my mantis molted and pilled all my sand up i realised hed stacked the sand because he has no rubble to move around and seal up his den so today i went to get some but my fave store didnt have much in the form of rubble so i just got some small pieces and will break them up is this a bad idea will it cause problems or is it fine to break it up if so im open to suggestions on how im thinking put it in a bag and drop it or hit it with a hammer:confused:

Break it up---you will be fine as long as you don't add a massive amount.

Wear safety glasses. Putting in a pillow case should prevent small pieces from flying around.
