I noticed today that one of my peppermint shrimp and a newly found unknown (pistol?) shrimp are plump with eggs. Anyone else experience this?

I've read that Pepermints breed quit easily in the home aquarium. =) congratulations!

I was thinking about setting up a tank just for that so my puffer can have some nice live food now and then that i dont have to buy.

Shrimp eggs are a good indicator of the health of your reef, so congrats!
I had 2 hatches from my peppermints, in 2 days, but looks like all the babies got eaten. they were no bigger than baby brine shrimp.

Check your tank with a flashlight after dark, thats when i saw the babies :D
