    Looking good!!!

You mentioned that youd go with PAR LEDs? I would try to hang them from the ceiling using a track lighting base 8) Nice and sleek to go with the sharp looking tank.

Yea I'm currently planning the lighting, I think I'll build an adjustable pennant from the back out of conduit tubing. I am also planning on ordering the acrylic soon for the sump, now that I know how much space I have to work with. Just waiting for some funds to free up.

Sorry everybody for the lack of updates, I'm taking this build really slow and doing a lot of research.
The other day I pulled the trigger on an AquaticLife 36" four bulb t5 light fixture (http://www.aquaticlife.com/products/286) with built in moonlights and a built in timer. I received this two days ago and it is perfect and will put out plenty of light for even sps corals. I chose t5 after looking at several builds utilizing them with amazing coral growth. The built in digital controller splits the bulbs into white, actinic, and moonlight circuits all with individual on/off timers. I also did not like the spotlight effect that going with par bulbs would have caused. I think I will add an extra LED strip-light in the fixture just to add slight shimmer but overall I am very happy with my choice. I am working out a way to suspend it over the tank using a hanging kit and metal conduit tubing. Still working on the exact final bulb mix but I'm planning on ordering them next week. I'll get pictures when the light is hung over the tank.
That's all for now. Sorry this build is going a little slower than I would hope but I've never been so patient with a tank before so I'm hoping it will pay off in the end. Now its time to start working on that sump...

The group buy has begun! So BRS order placed today for

Dry rock (reef saver and pukani)
    Filter socks
    Vortech MP10
    GFO and Carbon Reactor
and ATI bulbs to replace the standard bulbs that came in the T5 fixture

I finally got some money to spare on this baby so things should move along faster whenever I find some time to work on the tank. Plan is to order acrylic for the sump by the end of the week!

BRS order came today! Unfortunately the ATI Bulbs were damaged in shipping so I'll have to wait for new ones. The Dry Rock looks Amazing! I can't wait to start figuring out a rockscape this week. Pictures to follow.

This one is actually glass, it is the Mr. Aqua 12 Gallon Long tank. The sump will be acrylic however.
