Dry rock is curing in the tank right now. Once that is cured ill pull it out, drill the tank, build in my overflow and do all the plumbing!

For the time being, I need opinions on rockscape. Here are the two best that I came up with. I think I like the first more because it has some more space but I like the look of the second, I'm torn.
    Option 1

    Option 2

Any other ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

dude a good tip is to put less rock in the tank, minimalist tank setups looks sick as heck and they also save you money on live rock. also theres alot more water volume overall without all that rock.

Thank you! The more I slept on it, the less I liked the large amount of rock that I was trying in there and the more I realized that I was trying WAY TO MUCH rock in there, and really limiting space for fish to swim and corals to grow. I'm now planing on breaking the rock into much smaller pieces or shaping them and using about half the rock that is in either of my original two layouts. Thank you chelseagrin, perfect timing in helping me to make up my mind and enforcing my current thoughts.

I concur, I think more negative space will balance the tank well.

I really like the way that the rock comes out of the water in the first one, I may have to play around with that a bit.

I like a minimalist scape as well. That's what I just did in my 29 gallon.
