I saw one the other day that has since lost its color and is now clear. Then a few more showed up in my Nano 16 gallon this morning. Are they eggs? Are they coral? Are they algae? Are they bad?

I am a beginner and barely know what is in my tank. I have two anemones, one clown fish that catches food and feeds them, a sun coral, a pulse coral, this olive green coral that acts like an anemone, a giant polyp coral and misc other polyp type coral.

Tons of white tiny starfish and I saw some bristle starfish in there too.

I tried going google images to see if there was anything similar but not no avail.

    Help is muchly appreciated!

    :::Update:::
It was suggested to me that they may be orange algae.
    Sniffle.

They turn from bright neonish orange to a clear color. I also see same sized ones very closeby that are green bubble and red bubble... and I'm pretty sure those are algae.

New question is- how do I get rid of them without spreading the spores? (not that I have a clue where these spores are... inside I'm guessing...)

I have a very long pipette (14?"?) that won't suck them up... they're pretty tight to their spot. I'm afraid to break them open for risk of spreading spore... unless of course I already did that by trying to suck them into the pipette dropper...

I also am seeing other algae (My beau shared some of his live rock from his tank to help kick start my tank) that I'm pretty sure isn't good either... one looks very mossy green and looks as though it needs a shave, and the other is a red color and plates (imho). I use my float magnet daily to wipe away this green film that ends up coating the viewing window (is that algae bad?)... I'm 3 weeks into this tank and just bought water from my LFS to do my 20% change out. My LFS tests water weekly and has always given me the thumbs up for whatever he tests for.

I tried posting but can not from my iphone or ipad. Boo hoo.
Thank you for all your help though!!! I'm grateful.

PS- yes, I already know that a Nano isn't a beginner's tank... Please don't rag me on this point. :/

I watch over it like a hawk.

If you can post a close up picture as best as you can do it I might be able to help.

    Welcome to 3reef Laura.

Off the top of my head I would have to say eggs. What are the members of your CUC.

    An images always really help.

This link may assist you ID some common critters.

Clownfish eggs are orange initially but you only have one clown.

I beg to differ :) My first tank was an 8g bio cube. Kept it running for 2 years. Heres my moto-if you can successfully keep a nano running you CAN keep ANY tank successfully!!
