Bristle worm help

    Is this guy harmful or helpful? I have him in a glass of tank water for now but I'll put him back if he's not a pest. He's definitely cool looking. This is the first one I've seen in my 220. I found him while doing some scaping today. He's about 2" long.

    Depends. they have their use, but most ppl find them to be an unsightly pest that are a pain in the butt to get rid off. You probably have many more in your system ;p

    I think it's pretty cool looking and in a 220 I'm sure there's more in there no doubt about it. But this guy is already back in the tank. Thanks for the clarification.

    I would have to agree with Reefplayground, there is more than one in your tank. I would have to say it is up to you to decide if you want to keep it as part of your CUC or not.
