bristle worm?? ID please.

    is this a bristle worm?? or what is it? keep or nuke?

    i have about 4 of this things on my 150 tank... idk how they got there...

    wont this if they die they nuke your tank?

    About the only things that will nuke your tank are Sea Apples (and their close relatives) and phyllidiid nudibranchs (uncommon in reef tanks, but one shows up occasionally). Some puffers may also be toxic enough to cause problems. Just about anything else that "nukes your tank" will be an overload from normal decomposition after it dies. Some algae and dinoflagellates are toxic too, of course.

    The bristleworm looks like one of the harmless ones.
