Oh HELL no! That thing went down the garbage disposal about 6 seconds after it was captured.

Wouldn't that actually be saving you money now-a-days? ;) ;D

i have seen two of these (from what i can tell it is the same kind as in your picture) in my tank..my clove polyp colony has been mysteriously closed up for about 5 days now..and i always see the two cruising around right around them..I'm not sure if the polyps are closed because of them..but next time i see one out in the open he's GONE!

And they're not that easy to catch.. Go after one with a turkey baster and see how fast they can move.. Back into the hole anyway.. On the bottom they have been slow..

An Arrow Crab Is OK to have around corals..?

    Thanks, Larry

    Danny,
After you eat a bristleworm, I have a feeling you'll be headed down to the lake to smoke and pray.... that your throat stops stinging. LOL. Couldn't resist. Sorry.

I have at least 2 monster bristle worms in our tank that are as thick as your thumb and at least a foot long. I dont know if they are bad but dont want to wait to find out. I have tried to grab them but they are too strong. I have tried to trap them but they are too smart...any ideas how they can be trapped? I recently remodeled the LR to remove all the big crabs that I saw snatching out at fish during feeding but could not get to the worms.

i'm w/ packleader on this....remove the bristleworms IMO....i dont like 'em that much no mattter how beneficial they might be...if I got stuck by one of those guys, forget it...i'll remove every last one there is...I hope my six line takes care of some of 'em in my nano and in the mean time i'm contemplating buying that "trap 'em" device from dr. foster and smith to see I can catch some that way as well. You want beneficial then get a CUC.
