    i got a new thing from my pet store today it's a feather duster cluster with blood red clusters for my 10 gallon and it been aclamating since 7pm and i noticed about 3 bristle worms how could i get them out before i put my Fire rock in (clever name LFS called it)

    Sorry this is not a really an ASAP i just need it answered before i put it into my tank

    build a trap maybe? i think there is one in the DIY.... or maybe i saw one somewhere else.... anyways they are beneficial detritivores.

    Thread moved. Also, there isn't a sentry in ASAP waiting for a question to come in. Your chances of getting an answer are better if threads are started in the appropriate forum. You may also stumble upon your answer while looking through that particular forum.
    Regarding bristleworms, there has to be atleast 50 threads on b-worms. They come out at night and definitely hide with your presence and during the day. Unless you have too many b-worms, then the chances of being zapped from handling l/r from your tank are slim. I sometimes cringe when I grab a nice clump of chaeto from my refugium. I'm not going to die from a sting(I hope) and am a little curious anyways.
