Bristleworm in zoas

    I have no first hand experience on this, but An older very respect member of 3reef (Packleader) would say different. Here is a quote from his post.....


    "It depends on what kind. Technically, there are a lot of different species of bristle worms. The problem is that they are very difficult to ID one from the other. And some will eat coral, even when small. I personally saw a 1" bristle worm munching on a patch of my zoa's before deciding to rid my tank of them. I would recommend getting rid of them. If you want a clean up crew, get a proper group"

    I cleared them out last night. I ended up pulling out about 10 of them! They are pretty dark red, so they might be fire worms after all. I don't even want to chance them eating my anemone. Obviously they aren't interested in the zoas, but you never know. I just hope I got them all.
