Does anyone know how to get rid of Bristleworms? They are taking over my little 20 gallon reef tank.
I tried a Arrow Crab, but he didn't seem interested in the worms and only lived a month or so before dying.
The tank inhabitants are 1 Yellow Tail Damsel, 1 Chromis 1 Royal Gramma and 1 Skunk Shrimp. These worms are coming out of the live rock all over and actually taking food away from the shrimp.
    Help me,please.
    Thanks

Thanks for the info, but these worms come out whenever I feed daytime, night with the lights on. I just lost an otherwise healthy skunk shrimp....Is it possible one of these big ones got him? I read about a trap on another post,,,,does anyone know anything about this?
    Thanks again

If you want, try a six line wrasse, they are known to eat bristle worms, at least smaller ones. The 20 gal. tank may be a bit small, but you may be able to get away with a small one

how many worms are you talking about? some are good are you overfeeding? if not some traps do work bait ina jar ect but wrasses are hit or miss and if the worms are big they wont mess with them have you tried to manually remove them (tweezers ,forceps)?
