    Nice photo skills, Matt! They look very professional.

    I'm guessing they'd produce what they're calling the "spotlight effect" to some extent. They look very promising, though.

    These look awesome, but I wonder when they will make ones that have say 25-30 watts for people with more "normal" sized tanks?

    I also really wonder what the spread of light coverage is on these. I see it has a 100 degree reflector, but what area will one actually light?

    I also would love to see PAR readings of course. I'm sure these aprticular ones have a lot of PAR.


    LED lighting is the lighting of the future, it's only a matter of time before the price comes down enough to make them an option for most people.

    I saw these at a LFS in Phoenix, AZ a few weeks ago, very impressive, they were in the process of setting them up on a 33" deep reef tank, they put out a great deal of light, when I go back I'll ask what the par readings are at the bottom and report back here.
