broke my return pump, JB Weld safe?

    I took my return pump out of the sump to clean it. DUMB ME, I broke the tip off the pump (a hyperflow 20hf) that connects to my pvc. All I have around is some JB-WELD expoy. Supposed to set in 5 mins. After this cures, is it reef safe? Anyone tried it?

    it's gonna have to work till i get a new pump :I :) What a dumb mistake!

    I have no idea. I would assume it is ok. After it dries rince it well just to make sure nothing odd is brought into the tank.
