hey all, Ive been running my radion for about 4 months ish? no issues and loved the light.

came home from work today and the light was off..? so i unplugged it, waited a few minutes and turned it back on and right away it lit up the tank, no harm no foul.

15 minutes later i happen to smell an acrid oder, and look back at my tank and see the fixture lightly smoking, and the then it shut off. the fan had stopped working.

at this point it was 5:05. so i tried to call ecotect because all you hear about is their great customer support, but their hours are from 9-5 Mon-Fri.

so i guess I'm S.O.L. until Monday, but what do i do about my unlit tank for the weekend? it'll be Monday afternoon before i get a chance to call again, and then it'll take how ever long to fix it.

is there anything i can do for my corals until then or will they be fine for about a week-ish?

any words of wisdom or helpful anything would be awesome right now.

Sorry to hear that your corals should be ok for 7 days without ilight. Do you not have a back up light fixture of any kind?

make sure you reacclimate your corals to the more intense light when you get your radion back
