I know this question has probably been asked a million times, but will the brown algae die off after the tank cycles. I discovered I was running the lights too long and have reduce it to 2 hrs of moon, 6 hrs daylight and 2 hrs moon. I jsut upgraded the light to a T5. The tank has been setup for a little over a week. I have LR and a couple of fish. When I fist purchased the LR I pulled all of the sponges off and brushed it down with a toothbrush to help the curing processsnd notto polute the tank. I just hate the brown algae. Here are my current water coditions.
