brown bristle worm?

hey guys, unfortunately i dont have a picture because i can't get my normally awesome camera to focus on the little guy but i hve some sort of worm thing in a hole in my rock, its brow and white striped, i believe its a worm because at first i wanted to say it was a brittlestar fish tenticle because of the coloring and watnot but the tip had like a mouth and when i shine a light on it , it hides.

very small, any ideas?

 

My brittle stars hide when I spook them with light or movement. Are you sure you saw a mouth?

 

eww def. not a peanut worm, much slimmer, almost like a brittlestar arm, but i def. 100% saw a mouth

What did the mouth look like? Were there bristles along the body, or was it smooth?

 

i concur, if i had to touch one to remove it.....wouldnt be ableto lmao. those pictures were traumatizing lmao.

smooth body, but segmented or maybe thats just the stripes its really tiny hard to tell, and i wanna say "teeth" or bristles around the mouth.

I'm thinking mission was right with his ID. Did the worm kind of "go into itself" when he closed up? It's a weird thing to describe, but if he kind of folded himself into himself sort of, it is probably a peanut worm. They are usually that color too.
