My first ever coral was some ugly brown button polyps, I think the lfs even gave me like three of them for free. They have grown rapidly but recently have turned a real bright almost neon green and a couple of them are huge in size . On the other hand my "real" green zoas aren't doing very good, some even folded completely over...I'm new to reef keeping and I can't seem to keep everything happy. Test my water religiously and everything is great

The palys are were probably browned out and they are now coming back to their true color.

And the zoas, how close are they to any other coral? when they fold back, it most likely means they are fighting with another coral.

They are pretty close to a toadstool actually. I don't want to move the toadstool though cause my clowns left the torch coral and have been playing around and in the toadstool. The zoas have spread onto a piece of my base rock and cannot be moved as well...I guess "peaceful" corals don't always play nice
