So I seen an ad on craigslist from a guy giving away free coral in his tank, the only downside is that his tank is infested with brown flatworms, is it as simple as dipping them in Coral Rx before adding them into my tank?? Is it worth risking a flatworms out break for free corals??

yes, i have found it difficult to remove brown flatworms, they die readily though to flatworm medication and FWD. Do you have a QT tank? I would set up a QT tank and dose 1.5 x the amount of flatworm medication they suggest for your size QT, and use a turkey baster to blast in all the holes. My brown flatworms came back 2 or 3 times before I finally got them to surrender, so you wouldn't want to do a dip and only kill 95% of them, only to have them overrun your tank later.

I ended up taking my chances, I dipped everything in a really strong dose of coral Rx and then did an RO dip before putting them in my tank. No flatworms and coral is doing great =]
