brown hairy algae?

    I have some brown, hairy, root like algae grown on my glass. what is it?:confused:

    This means that the algae is already dead, you can wait and see if it'll float off but it most likely won't unless you give it a little budge, MANUAL LABOR!!! hahaha, good luck, i've got that stuff covering the whole back wall of my tank!
