Do not do FW dips, this almost always kills the coral. Otherwise yes if you can.

Sure seems to be doing better!

For me, I had BDJ on several frags (a few were attached to LR - so removal and dipping was not an option.) Also Iodide dipping can be risky and fatal to corals if the correct concentration is not acheived.

Taking these options into mind I did some web research and saw that others had used Vitamin C as a WHOLE TANK treatment to BJD.

I went with the recommended "incrementally increasing" dose until I was up to 30 PPM. Within days of being at 30 PPM (2X daily) BJD was gone and 4 months later is still gone.

Vitamin C is an underlooked method of treating fish and corals and also is an amazingly effective carbon dosing method.

Where do you find Vitamin C for reef tank use and a test kit to know you reached your target ppm?

even being this is a coral that is medium care levels it will be one of the first corals to let you know if your water isn't upto par, you may need to check every parameter to find what your coral isn't getting or what it is getting that making it sick. here is a great article on this genius of coral and how to treat it. the water and lights are very important to this coral

I dont like to post from other forums but since there is not a wealth of info on here I will post:
Treating with Vitamin C - Page 29 - Reef Central Online Community

That is only page 29 of MANY pages of posts.

Everything you need to get you started is in there inlcuding links to Vit C as well as formulas for calculating dosages.

+1 on the iodine dip suggestion. If you see any necrotic tissue, you can use airline tubing to siphon off the dead/necrotic tissue and give the coral a bath with an Iodine solution like TM Pro Coral Cure or similar product. The iodine will act as an antiseptic and hopefully kill prevent the spread of the tissue necrosis
