Brown rice shaped eggs/husks?

    I see these little brown husks or shells floating in the water.. maybe a piece every day or every other day. They look very much like rice (albeit very dark brown) and I can tell that whatever was inside is no longer there as it is mostly transparent. Any ideas what it is?

    Pictures would help sooo much :) It could be a zillion things but really without pictures its a crapshoot.

    some sort of chrysalis? like have you seen moths anywhere? I just got over fighting some clothes moths they exploded out of nowhere.

    Haven't seen any moths around my house whatsoever.
