    Spectrapure sells the 1 psi check valves, PurelyH2o probably does also. A good hardware or plumbing supply store might have one but not likely, they are not a common item.

    That's how mine has been set up for over 18months- with no maintenance.
    My tap is 145TDS

    Shoot, even my RO drinking water fro mthe small tap on the sink is 0 TDS!
    that also goes to the fridges ice/water.

    Then from there thru the DI resin and to my DIY ATO.

    DO NOT use the RO stored in the bladder to make DI. The tank stores and concentrates TDS creep water and will exhaust resin much quicker. Separate the DI with a check valve so it is made with water directly from the RO membrane for best wate rquality and DI life. It makes a huge difference.

    I have a spectrapure system. I fill up a 35 gal brute and have a pump inside for water circulation. I take the water from my trash can, and fill up a 5 gallon jug in a water cooler dispenser. I drink it quite frequently. I also use it for cooking.
