I am about to purchase some dry rock with my Group Buy from BRS. My question is how does the company figure how many lbs I am getting? For example, I am ordering 10 pieces of "reef saver" rock. How many lbs will that be? Do you leave a "note" as to how many lbs you are requesting when ordering?

I have been looking on the website though I have not found any info..

    thanks

You don't order by pieces...you order by pounds. So the "10" that you enter is actually 10 pounds.

You can leave a note as to the number of rocks you want though. You can say I want one 10lb rock or something like give me 3 rocks that equal 10lbs.

I ordered 7lbs once and told them it was for a 10 gallon nano and I got about 5 awesome rocks.

I usually give them an idea of the size I want. I learned to stick to balls, like golf ball, baseball, softball, football etc. When I told them grapefruit size I found out they obviously have been eating small grapefruits up there. :)
