BRS mixed dry rock

Anyone used the mixed dry rock from Bulk reef supply? They have the buy 125lbs and get 25 free going right now. And I just so happen to be in the market for 150lbs of rock.

 

If you can afford the Pukani kd.....get it!! You can seed from my tanks rock & sand!!!! :clapping:

 

the 25 free lbs has me lol, you need to come look at the rock that we have already, gotta be close to 100lbs

 

Is it "alive" (in water)?

 

about 35lbs is in water, in our current setups, nothing special though, and I have about 75 lbs dried out from the previous owner

 

UGH, the pukani comes out to $410 for 150lbs! Ouch, not sure about that.

 

I was gonna buy another 60lbs. of the PUKANI. You have 35 live in water, 75lbs. dry, thats 110lbs. I'll buy 60 from you if you want, thats 150lb minus 60lb, leaves you with 90lb. Add the 110lb you already have and thats 200lbs, plus you get the 25lbs free for a total of 225lbs.....correct? You still come out ahead since your paying less than the 3 bucks a lb with the discount. Fiji at the LFS = 6 or $7/lb.

 

All the reviews of the Pukani say they got way more than they expected when it showed up. So I would guess that 150lbs of it will look like 200+ right?

 

Probably, for sure. It weighs way less....very porous. ALSO kd, the deal is 125lbs not 150lbs....& you get 25lbs free.

 

So if I order 150 and it looks like 200, I win as the girlfriend wont be able to say anything! lol I can just tell her I only ordered 150! Wish I could see an example of someone with a tank full of this stuff and how much of it they have in there to compare to.
