    Sorry for the long delay been busy trying to finish house paperwork. I feed pe mysis normaly and I feed brine shrimp and a meaty frozen food can't remember name.

    Ok. Mine loves meaty food as well, but also loves flake foods and pellets. So I usually feed him one of the following 3 everyday for lunch, and then a frozen meaty (or even herbivore food) every night:

    Ocean Nutrition Formula 2 flakes
    OSI Spirulina Flakes
    New Life Spectrum Pellets

    I have read that they do need some Spirulina in their diet at the very least. Since mine started to lose some of his color, I made more of an effort to get the herbivore/Spirulina food in his diet, as well as to feed him twice a day, and he is back to "full" coloring.

    I am not positive if this is the reason, but either way it did not hurt! And, I also keep the tank at 76.6-77, and gave him 4" of sand, plus plenty of shells and objects to make his borrow with. So far, so good!

    So I figured I would give a update he appears to be gaining all color back and is very active and brave again will leave his den to search for food and building material again.
